Konvent 15 – Historic Restauration

The historic restoration

In 2012, the dilapidated half-timbered house in Konvent 15 was still considered ready for demolition – in 2016 it shines again in its old splendor. The goal of the historic restoration of the beautiful little building from 1666 was to restore the house keeping its historic essence intact – inside and out.

Under the direction of qbatur, an architectural firm specializing in historic half-timbered houses, among other things, Konvent 15 has been brought back to life.

See for yourself how the half-timbered house was changed during the restoration.

Impressions from Quedlinburg

Historic city and surroundings

Quedlinburg was awarded the status of a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the 1990s. More than 1000 half-timbered houses have been historically restored since then – the entire old town center with its medieval flair is now a listed building.

And the surrounding area also offers exciting and historic sights.
